FAQs

How do I check my score?  

Simply download the MONEYME app, set up your account, and follow the prompts in the app to check your credit score! You can read more about MONEYME Credit Score here.  

Does it cost anything? 

No. MONEYME Credit Score is completely free to use, and the competition is free to enter.  

How do I know if I am eligible for the competition? 

You need to be 18 years or older and an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to enter the competition. Go in the draw to win simply by signing up to our free MONEYME Credit Score tool and logging in to the MONEYME app to check your score every month.  

How do I know if I’ve won the competition? 

Winners will be contacted by email. We announce a new winner every three months.  

Can I enter the competition more than once? 

Yes. Simply keep logging in to the MONEYME app and check your MONEYME Credit Score every month, to go in the draw to win. We announce a new winner every three months.  

What happens if I forget to check my credit score in a particular month? 

To go in the draw to win, you must have checked your credit score every month for the past 3 months. We draw a new winner every three months, so if you miss a month, keep checking your score every month to go into the next draw! 

Are there any restrictions on how I can use the money if I win? 

No. The $1,000 will be deposited into your nominated bank account and you can use it however you like.

MONEYME Credit Score Cash Prize Promotion

 TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. These Terms & Conditions apply to the MONEYME Credit Score Cash Prize Promotion, promoted by Price Enquiry Pty Ltd ABN 45 647 624 155 of Level 3, 131 Macquarie Street, Sydney, NSW 2000 (“MONEYME”) (the “Promotion”). 

2. We recommend you read these Terms & Conditions in full. Information on how to enter the Promotion and in relation to the prize forms part of these Terms & Conditions. Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. 

3. The Promotion commences at 8:00am AEDT on 1 February 2024 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT on 31 October 2024 (“Promotion Period”). 

Eligibility and entry

4. Entry to the Promotion is open to permanent residents of Australia who are aged 18 years or older (“Eligible Entrants”) and who meet the Entry Requirements.  Employees of MONEYME and its related bodies corporate (as that term is defined in the Corporations Act 2001) or the immediate family of MONEYME employees are ineligible to enter.  

5. There will be three (3) separate entry periods during the Promotion Period as follows: 

• 1 February 2024 to 30 April 2024; 
• 1 May 2024 to 31 July 2024; and 
• 1 August 2024 to 31 October 2024.

6. To enter the Promotion, Eligible Entrants must, during one or more Entry Periods:  

7. register (or already be registered) for MONEYME’s credit score service via its mobile app available on the App Store and Google Play; and 

8. check their credit score using MONEYME credit score service at least once per calendar month for three consecutive months, 

(the “Entry Requirements”).  

9. Each Eligible Entrant who meets the Entry Requirements during the Promotion Period will receive one automatic entry in the Prize draw. There is a maximum of one (1) entry per Eligible Entrant. 

Prizes 

10. There will be one (1) prize of A$1,000 (“Prize”) in respect of each Entry Period.  The total Prize pool is A$3,000.  Prizes will be paid to Prize winners by electronic funds transfer their a nominated bank account.  Prize winners cannot transfer or assign their right to their Prize to any other person.  An Eligible Entrant cannot win more than one (1) Prize during the Promotion Period.  

Prize draws 

11. The three Prize draws will be conducted by MONEYME at Level 3, 131 Macquarie Street, Sydney NSW and will take place as follows:  

• 12:00pm AEST on 7 May 2024; 
• 12:00pm AEST on 6 August 2024;
• 12:00pm AEDT on 6 November 2024 

12. In the event a Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond MONEYME’s control, MONEYME may at its discretion substitute the Prize for an alternative prize, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. 

13. Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Any additional expenses involved are at the Prize winner’s expense. 

14. Allocation of a Prize to the winner is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. 

15. Prize winners will be notified by telephone and/or email via the contact details supplied to MONEYME when they entered the Promotion. Prize winners’ names will also be published on the MONEYME blog, on the MONEYME website at www.moneyme.com.au.  

16. If an initial Prize winner cannot be contacted, or does not the claim a Prize, within 7 days of the Prize draw, MONEYME may conduct an unclaimed prize draw in order to distribute the unclaimed Prize. All non-winning entries from the original draw will be included in the unclaimed prize draw. The unclaimed prize draw if needed will be conducted by MONEYME at 12:00pm AEST on 10 February 2025.  The winner of any unclaimed prize draw will be notified in the same way as the original prize winner. 

17. MONEYME reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to request verification of age, identity and residential address of a Prize winner and/or proof of entry validity and other information relevant to entry into or participation in this Promotion. MONEYME reserves the right to disqualify any individual who: (a) is involved in any way with interfering or tampering with the conduct of the Promotion; or (b) MONEYME deems has acted in a way which is contrary to the spirit of the Promotion. 

General 

18. MONEYME assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry in the Promotion or for inaccurate information by any person or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, MONEYME may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify the Promotion. 

19. Where necessary and subject to the approval of the relevant lottery authorities (if required), MONEYME reserves the right to modify and vary these Terms & Conditions and may withdraw the Promotion at any time.  MONEYME may exclude from the Promotion any entrant who breaches these Terms & Conditions or who acts in a way which is contrary to the spirit of the Promotion or these Terms & Conditions. Any decision of MONEYME is final and no further correspondence will be entered into. 

20. Information provided by entrants will be collected and used by MONEYME for the purpose of conducting the Promotion and for promotional purposes relating to this Promotion. By entering this Promotion, entrants consent to the collection, storage and use of their information as described and agree that MONEYME may also use this information for future marketing or promotional purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant. 21. To the extent permitted by law, MONEYME and its related bodies corporate, and their officers, employees and agents, shall not be liable for any claims, damages, injuries, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) as a result of, or arising out of, or in any way connected with this Promotion and/or a Prize or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of MONEYME or its related bodies corporate, or their officers, employees or agents.
