At MONEYME, we believe in backing causes that make a real difference. That’s why we’ve supported Canteen’s Education and Career Service for years. MONEYME’s financial support has helped over 144 young people with 1,056 individual support sessions in FY23 alone.

This year, to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of National Bandanna Day, MONEYME is taking our commitment even further by matching the sale of a very special bandanna, “The Rest is Confetti”, designed by one of Canteen’s Youth Ambassadors, Chloe.

Chloe’s Story

When Chloe’s mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, shortly after her grandfather’s passing from cancer, she turned to Canteen for support. Chloe received guidance, counselling, and opportunities to connect with new friends who share similar experiences at Canteen events and programs.

In celebration of National Bandanna Day, Chloe has designed a special bandanna called “The Rest Is Confetti”, reflecting the bittersweet moments of her journey and the special things she cherishes that helped her get by.

National Bandanna Day’s Impact

Since the launch of National Bandanna Day, over $35 million has been raised to support Canteen’s life-changing services. Every year, 23,000 young Australians have their world turned upside down by cancer. But through the incredible work of Canteen, young people receive the counselling, opportunities for peer connection, and career support that they need to keep moving forward. Now, with MONEYME’s continued dedication to Canteen, we’re ensuring that even more young Australians receive the help they need.

YA Bandanna Dollar Match – Terms and Conditions

1. Entry is open to all Australian residents who purchase a ‘The Rest is Confetti’ bandanna at shop.bandannaday.org.au.
2. Participants fulfilling these requirements between Sunday 1 September 2024 and Thursday 31 October 11:59pm AEST 2024 will have the value of their bandanna purchase matched by MONEYME until the value cap of $20,000 is reached.
3. Once the matching cap is reached the promotion will end.
4. The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. The promoter is Canteen Australia, ABN 77 052 040 516.
