We’re excited to announce that MONEYME has officially acquired SocietyOne, another leading Australian non-bank lender.

We’re thrilled to have SocietyOne joining us on our journey as we continue to lead innovation and industry transformation in personal finance.

Who is SocietyOne?
SocietyOne is one of Australia’s leading digital lending brands, offering personal loans and a Credit Score product that allows customers to check and improve their financial wellness.

Founded in 2011, SocietyOne was the first to launch an active peer-to-peer lending platform to Australia.

Today, over 26,000 Australians have a personal loan with SocietyOne and over 200,000 customers are using their Credit Score tool. Learn more on SocietyOne’s website.

Why did we acquire them?
This acquisition will make the MONEYME Group one of the largest non-bank credit providers in Australia. It’s a huge step in closing the gap to the major banks.

Joining forces means we can leverage great innovation brought by both businesses to bring significant value to both MONEYME’s and SocietyOne’s customers.

Ultimately, it will allow us to deliver better lending and credit experiences to more Australians, helping them invest in themselves and back their ambitions.

What does this mean to you?
You’ll still receive the awesome MONEYME experience you’re used to and we’re working hard to bring you exciting new features and products.

Stay tuned as more is coming!
